Amanda Mutasa
Amanda has 10 years experience as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and obtained her IBCLC Certification in 2018 during her first maternity leave. The bulk of her experience is working with premature infants or bubs with complex congenital issues. She has a lot of experience in creating feeding/pumping plans and getting baby’s back to the breast after surgeries or illnesses. Breastfeeding isn’t always a straight path, there are a lot of ups and downs and she is excited to help build your confidence in navigating it all.

Sarah Thijs-Smit
Sarah is one of our Lactation Consultants at MAMA and also offers Birth Debriefing sessions. She is qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and completed the Birth Debrief Mentorship via Lael Stone and B from Core and Floor.
Sarah’s background is in midwifery, she graduated in 2012 in the Netherlands and worked in Amsterdam as a midwife before she came to Australia. Her passion is to support new families in this vulnerable period in their lives, working together to get more confident, skilled and to feel heard and seen. Sarah’s approach is non-judgemental, gentle and personalized.
She is also a mum of 3 gorgeous boys; Hugo, Jonas and Sep, and lives with her family in the Inner West.

Caroline Goudie
Caroline is a Registered Midwife and an IBCLC with over 12 years of experience supporting new families. Caroline is passionate about breastfeeding and loves helping new mums on their breastfeeding journey. A mum herself to two boys who are all grown up now, Caroline has heaps of parenting tricks to share and will never say no to a baby cuddle! Caroline is excited to join the MAMA team and looks forward to meeting the MAMA community!
