I’m Pregnant, what now?
You are no doubt feeling a number of positive and negative emotions, depending on your situation. We would love to help you make the right decisions for you about your care options. Either ask us a question specific to you in the form above, or make an appointment to see a MAMA Midwife and we can help you make the choices that are right for you!
Where should I have my baby?
This is a question that you should ask yourself early in the pregnancy, and this will help you decide which model of care is best for you. The answer should be where do you feel comfortable having your baby? In a private hospital? In a public hospital? In a birth centre? At home? All of these are safe options for most individuals, and are ‘the right choice’ for different people. Try to envisage the sort of atmosphere you would like to have your baby in, and who you might like to be around you; midwives? obstetricians? family and friends? MAMA midwives can work with you in any of the settings above. Please see the ‘information’ section of this website for more information on pregnancy care options, or feel free to call our centre to make an appointment to talk to a midwife.
